Enemy Reaction: The best of Richard Sherman tormenting the San Francisco 49ers

Richard Sherman is a member of the San Francisco 49ers.

That is not a misprint. You’re not dreaming. This is reality.

Sherman spent years making 49ers fans miserable, and effectively slammed San Francisco’s championship window while simultaneously propelling the Seattle Seahawks to a victorious Super Bowl. Yes, the team that Sherman has picked off more than any other is the Arizona Cardinals (seven times), but several of his career-defining highlights came on national TV against Jim Harbaugh’s group.

Let’s revisit every single one of those moments in a special edition of Enemy Reaction. Epic 49ers game thread comments are courtesy of Niners Nation.

Thanksgiving Day 2014: ...Like I said, Colin Kaepernick’s favorite receiver

Bonus reaction: Who wouldn’t take Sherman on the Niners?

Those were exciting times, and they can never be taken away from us. Now there’s a new chapter in this Seahawks-49ers rivalry, and I suppose that’s the only positive one can glean off of Sherman switching sides. I know I can’t wait for Shaquill Griffin to deflect a Jimmy Garoppolo pass right into the arms of Shaquem Griffin for the NFC West-winning interception, as Sherman looks on in utter disbelief. The only question is whether or not Griffin will call Pierre Garcon a “sorry receiver” in the post-game interview.

Thanks for reading and go ‘Hawks! There will be more offseason Enemy Reactions coming your way from now until August.
