Mike Garofolo of the NFL Network is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with former Carolina Panthers tight end Ed Dickson. No terms of the deal have been released, so be sure to check back later as I will update this article with those terms once they are out.
Take 2: Seahawks are in agreement on a deal with Ed Dickson, source says. Deal done. Name spelled correctly. As you were.

This agreement likely spells the end of Luke Willson’s time with the Seahawks, and while that will upset fans, Willson and Dickson are very similar in many aspects.
Used largely as a blocking tight end for most of his career up to this point, the addition of Dickson to the Hawks certainly makes it appear the Seahawks are getting back to what Pete Carroll promised they would do: get back to the ground game. Whether that is the case or not we will not know until the 2018 season arrives, however, this move certainly makes that appear to be the case.
