County, Texas announced it has indicted Eagles’ DE Michael Bennett for felony charge for injuring a 66-year-old paraplegic working at NRG Stadium to control access to field at SuperBowl LI. A warrant has been issued for Bennett’s arrest.
Bennett, 32, was traded from Seattle to the Philadelphia Eagles on March 7. He has been in the public limelight recently with his decision to sit during the national anthem at NFL games and accused Las Vegas officers of using excessive force against him at a casino in 2017.
Bennett went to high school in Houston and attended Texas A&M University.
