Which player from the 2013 Seahawks would you want on the 2018 roster?

It’s been five years since the Seattle Seahawks embarked on an unforgettable journey towards capturing the team’s first Super Bowl win in franchise history. As expected, there’s been plenty of roster turnover to the point where the only Seahawks from 2013 who are on the 2018 roster are: Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Bobby Wagner, K.J. Wright, Kam Chancellor, Byron Maxwell, Earl Thomas, and Jon Ryan.

For a fun discussion post in the quiet part of the offseason, I want to know which former player from the 2013 squad you would want on the 2018 team. Cap space be damned, just pick a player. Once again, you can only choose one, and to make things harder, you can’t take the 2013 version of said player. In other words, if you still wanted the Seahawks to keep Richard Sherman, you get the most recent Sherman, not the one who recorded 8 interceptions.

On the other hand, Golden Tate is coming off his fourth straight 90+ catch season (albeit on a pass-happy Detroit Lions team), Max Unger just helped anchor a strong New Orleans Saints offensive line towards the #2 offense by DVOA. Bruce Irvin tied his career-high with 8 sacks on what was otherwise a woeful Oakland Raiders defense... it’s a good thing Seattle didn’t hire that defensive coordinator (oh wait).

Still worried about the field goal kicking? Hauschka went 29-33 on his attempts with the Buffalo Bills, including a ridiculous 7-9 from 50+ yards. Oh yeah, and he made all 29 of his extra points.
