I’m a believer that Rashaad Penny can become a star player for the Seattle Seahawks. He was a great running back at San Diego State, a dangerous kick and punt returner, and outside of his performances on the football field, he clearly has great choice of cheap fast food, plus as noted the night he was drafted, his tweets show that he was meant to be a Seahawk no matter what round he was chosen.
If there is one area where Penny really needs to improve, it’s his
pass protection art skills. You see, the NFL just put out a video where rookies tried to recreate the logos of their respective teams. The results were as you’d expect (spoiler: really bad), and Penny... I’m not even sure he’s drawn an actual bird’s face.
Well at least you tried, Rashaad. With OTAs underway, the Seahawks coaching staff will surely need to insist upon Penny that he works hard on mastering the draw play. Get it? Get it?!!
You can watch the other rookies in the video below.
