The Seattle Seahawks made a pair of roster moves on Wednesday afternoon, signing linebacker Austin Calitro to the roster and waiving EDGE Dadi Nicolas, keeping the team’s roster at 90.
Calitro, who went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, spent a short time on the Seahawks’ practice squad last September prior to being released. The linebacker had stints with the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets as well, before ending the year on the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad and then signed a future contract.
In a strange connection, the Browns waived Calitro last month to make room on the roster for EDGE Marcell Frazier, who Seattle signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft, before waiving him to make room for... Dadi Nicolas.
Nicolas was traded to Cleveland earlier this offseason, however the trade was voided and he was later released by the Kansas City Chiefs. Nicolas, a former sixth round pick, made it through OTAs with the Seahawks prior to his release.
