EA Sports released its official reveal trailer for Madden NFL 19, and one of the major features they’ve promised for the upcoming edition of the storied video game is realistic player animations. Having implemented the “Frostbite” engine for Madden NFL 18 ahead of the Longshot story mode, Madden NFL 19 will have “real motion technology” that should make the game look more lifelike than ever before.
If you want to see something really cool, the trailer shows footage of the New England Patriots playing the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. Tom Brady is seen handing the ball off to running back Rex Burkhead, but coming around the corner to deliver a jarring hit and force the fumble is none other than rookie LB Shaquem Griffin.
Go to about the :56 mark and watch the highlight for yourself.
Admit it, that’s pretty cool to see, and hopefully we see Shaquem make those plays on the real gridiron in addition to the virtual one.
Madden NFL 19 is in stores on August 10th.
