For those of you who don’t live in any of the Seattle Seahawks local markets, there is good news if you want to catch at least one preseason game live this season.
NFL Network announced its full schedule of live preseason coverage on Thursday, and one of the games selected is Seattle’s Week 2 matchup at the Los Angeles Chargers on August 18th. Last year, NFL Network carried three of Seattle’s exhibition contests live, while the Kansas City Chiefs game was shown nationally on CBS.
This is more of a courtesy announcement than anything, as preseason is officially less than a month away.
In case you need a refresher, here’s the full Seahawks schedule for August.
Thursday, Aug. 9 — vs. Indianapolis Colts, 7 p.m. PT (KCPQ)
Saturday, Aug. 18 — at Los Angeles Chargers, 7 p.m. PT (NFL Network)
Friday, Aug. 24 — at Minnesota Vikings, 5 p.m. PT (KCPQ)
Thursday, Aug. 30 — vs. Oakland Raiders, 7 p.m. PT (KCPQ)
If you don’t live in the Seattle area, these are the Seahawks affiliate networks where you can either watch or listen to the local broadcasts. NFL Network will also show every preseason game even on a tape-delayed basis, so if you have that channel, you won’t miss any Seahawks action next month.
