Seahawks Training Camp 2018: Day 4 highlights include Shaquem Griffin picking off Russell Wilson

Day 4 of Seattle Seahawks Training Camp 2018 is in the books, and one of the best moments of Monday’s session was undoubtedly rookie linebacker Shaquem Griffin forcing yet another turnover. Having forced a fumble on TE Nick Vannett on the previous day, Griffin jumped a Russell Wilson pass intended for Vannett and made the interception.

Here’s the video:

Teammates mobbed Griffin after making the play, showing off the skills that made him a star at the University of Central Florida, where he was the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.

In other Seahawks training camp footage, here’s second-year WR Amara Darboh in action running an out pattern.

How about Russell Wilson to Brandon Marshall? The WR competition will be fascinating to see, and Marshall has to prove he still has something left in the tank.

Moving to the offensive line, George Fant is back from his ACL tear and working with Ethan Pocic.

On defense, Marcus Smith II will hopefully be a contributor for Seattle’s pass rush, which has major question marks heading into the season.

Third-round draft pick Rasheem Green is very much “green” in terms of experience, and the 21-year-old from USC was seen here with defensive line coach Clint Hurtt during drills.

For Michael Dickson fans, don’t worry! There is some footage of that sweet, sweet hang time action you’ve longed for, as the rookie from Australia tries to beat out Jon Ryan and become Seattle’s new punter.

More highlights will be posted here when they become available.
