Veteran pass rusher Junior Galette is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday, per multiple sources including Galette:

Galette is talented, registering 12 sacks with the New Orleans Saints in 2013, followed by 10 more in 2014, but not without red flags. He was kicked out of Temple for what he called “boneheaded mistakes,” causing him to go to a small school and go undrafted. Next, Galette was released by the Saints less than a year after signing a $41 million deal, at least in part because of domestic violence charges that were later dropped. Galette signed with Washington, tore his Achilles, and was later suspended two weeks for the earlier domestic violence allegations. In 2016, Galette tore his Achilles again. He finally got his opportunity to play for Washington last season, recording three sacks in 16 games.

Galette has remained a free agent, most recently visiting the LA Rams earlier this week before leaving without a contract. It appears that the Seahawks are now considering him an option despite his red flags as they ponder what to do if Dion Jordan misses an extended period of regular season action.
