The 2018 Seattle Seahawks preseason concludes tonight (Thursday, August 30th) with a home game against Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders.
Seattle will look to finish the preseason on a high note, having gone 0-3 thus far. Seeing as this is the final preseason game, don’t expect most of the starters to even play, and those who do (apart from the likes of Michael Dickson and Sebastian Janikowski) might get one series at the most. This is a huge opportunity for players on the bubble to make one final statement, and also a farewell of sorts to those who are surely not going to be on this team, but may find themselves a landing spot on another NFL roster.
Oh yes, and this is Marshawn Lynch’s return to Seattle as a member of the Raiders, except he’s probably not going to play. If you’re going to the game, be sure to give him all the skittles.
