With the 2018 NFL preseason in the books, the next step for all 32 teams is to trim their respective rosters from 90 to 53 players. For the Seattle Seahawks, it’ll be interesting to see how the depth chart looks at wide receiver, cornerback, defensive line, and even on the lower-rung of the running back ladder. Notable guys on the bubble include WR Amara Darboh, CB Byron Maxwell, DL Poona Ford, and RB Mike Davis.

A surprise cut has been reported, as veteran safety Maurice Alexander has reportedly been cut.
The Seahawks are releasing safety Maurice Alexander, according to a source. He had a strong case to make the team given his past starting experience and versatility (having played some weak-side linebacker). It's possible the Seahawks bring him back at some point.

Seattle continues to thin out their crowded wide receiver group, releasing Malik Turner.
#Seahawks have released receiver Malik Turner, I’m told.

Rookie Alex McGough has reportedly been waived, although the Seahawks will surely push to bring him back to the practice squad.
The #Seahawks are waiving rookie QB Alex McGough, source said. Seventh-round pick flashed some athletic ability in the preseason, but they traded for Brett Hundley as No. 2. May be back on practice squad.

In a bit of a surprise, Joey Hunt has reportedly made Seattle’s 53-man roster to begin the season.

Earl Thomas trade talks? Well they’re not going very far.
The #Cowboys remain a trade option for Earl Thomas. But my understanding is multiple other teams have reached out recently about acquiring the star safety. No one has met #Seahawks’ asking price yet and they’re not in any hurry. @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/xK7RGBujqC
