The Seattle Seahawks are banged up enough on defense, and now they won’t even have their second-string right cornerback available against the Chicago Bears.
Tre Flowers is out with a hamstring problem that put him out of practice most of this week. This means Akeem King, just promoted from the practice squad, will start in his place. This comes after Dontae Johnson was put on IR with a groin injury, which led to Flowers getting the Week 1 call-up and a rookie debut. Special teams ace Neiko Thorpe could get some snaps in the secondary because the injury situation is that out of hand.
The Seahawks inactives are as follows:
CB Tre Flowers
S Delano Hill
LB Bobby Wagner
LB K.J. Wright
G D.J. Fluker
G Jordan Simmons
WR Doug Baldwin
Austin Calitro and Mychal Kendricks appear to be the starting linebackers in the absence of Wright and Wagner. Good luck to those guys.
Here are the Bears inactives:
S DeAndre Houston-Carson
FB Michael Burton
LB Isaiah Irving
LB Kylie Fitts
T Rashaad Coward
WR Javon Wims
DL Nick Williams
