The gameday inactives have been announced for the Seattle Seahawks’ 2019 NFL Playoffs wild card opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Obviously for Seahawks fans, all eyes are on whether or not starting left guard J.R. Sweezy would be able to return to action after missing last week with a sprained foot. The answer? Yes, he’s playing! This means that Seattle is going to have its full, regular starting OL playing for the first time in several weeks.
I suppose the most notable Seahawks inactives are rookie Rasheem Green, who must be a healthy scratch, while the injured FB Tre Madden is not available, so expect TEs Ed Dickson and Nick Vannett to function as fullbacks when needed.
On the Dallas Cowboys side, they’ll be without their starting left guard Xavier Su’a-Filo, so rookie Connor Williams, who has struggled when pressed into action, is going to be taking his place for this game.
Here are the full inactives for Seahawks-Cowboys game, which kicks off at 8:15 PM ET/5:15 PM PT on FOX:
