The Seattle Seahawks currently sit comfortably at 5-1, just a half game behind the NFC West leading San Francisco 49ers. With the Niners set to play the Washington Redskins, Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals in the next three weeks, the possibility exists that Seattle might need to continue to win just to keep pace with Santa Clara.
In any case, the Hawks will need to take care of business against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7 this weekend, and whether or not Duane Brown and D.J. Fluker will be back remains to be seen. Brown suffered an injury to his left biceps in Week 3 and hasn’t been the same since, while Fluker left the Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams after the team’s second offensive series with a hamstring issue and hasn’t played since. During Week 6 it was George Fant and Jamarco Jones stepping in to fill in to start.
For Fant, it was his first start on the left side 2016, after having started two games at right tackle at the tail end of 2018, while Jones was making the first start of his career. Here’s how they, along with Mike Iupati, Justin Britt and Germain Ifedi looked against the Browns.

The performance of Jones and Fant certainly makes watching the injury report less urgent than it could be had they been liabilities against the Browns.
