The Seattle Seahawks are set to face off against their former All Pro safety Earl Thomas this weekend when he comes to town with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7, however, according to Pete Carroll, the Hawks could be down two of their own safeties. That could lead to a situation where many fans finally get to see what they have been asking for - the team’s other second rounder on the field.
Should both players be out, Marquise Blair would start at strong safety for the #Seahawks. Carroll said Blair has gotten a ton or work this week in practice.

So, Lano Hill will not play, and whether or not Bradley McDougald plays this weekend will depend on how his back is doing on Sunday. Should McDougald not be able to go against the Ravens, then as Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest notes in the tweet, it would be second round draft pick Marquise Blair who gets the start at strong safety. This could certainly make things interesting in the Seattle secondary, where many fans have been unimpressed with Tedric Thompson across from McDougald this season, in spite of improvements in recent weeks.
