In Week 4 the Seattle Seahawks traveled down to the Phoenix area in order to take on the Arizona Cardinals and their newfangled Air Raid offense under first year head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The Cardinals offense moved the ball at times, but the Hawks defense was stout once Arizona moved into scoring territory and thanks to a defensive touchdown from Jadeveon Clowney and two missed field goals from Zane Gonzalez, the game was never really very close.

For the Seahawks, Chris Carson went into workhorse mode, getting 22 carries on the day while surpassing 100 yards for the seventh time in his career and the second time in two career games against Arizona. However, we’ll get to Carson’s carries later today or tomorrow, as for now it’s time to look at the handful of carries that C.J. Prosise had against the Cardinals.

While the three rushing attempts that Prosise logged were far from a heavy workload, the fact is that he’s already at nine rushing attempts for the season. While nine attempts is certainly not a lot, it’s just three attempts fewer than he had over the course of the 2017 and 2018 seasons combined. So, while it may have taken some time and battling through injuries to get here, fans might finally be getting some of what they had hoped for when the team used a third round pick on him in 2016. However, without wasting any more time, here are the three carries for Prosise from Sunday, including that first touchdown in more than two calendar years.
