Another game in the books — this time a fairly easy victory on the road against a division rival — and another week to examine what “plugged in” Seattle Seahawks fans think of the direction of the team. The short end of it: they like things again!
Seahawks voters have gone from 89% fan confidence before the New Orleans Saints game to 51% afterwards and then back up to 79% following Sunday’s win. A victory over their division rivals on Thursday should put confidence back at 89%, if not significantly higher.
How are things going over at Turf Show Times though as the Seahawks prepare to face the LA Rams? Not good. Eight months after losing the Super Bowl, fan confidence has waned from near 100% to slow dips and then finally a “kerplunk” after the 55-40 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fan confidence in the Rams is at 50%, down from 86% a week ago.
In a nationally posed question, fans preferred Daniel Jones over Gardner Minshew as best replacement QB, but only slightly.
