Your summary of the Seattle Seahawks FanPulse results for the 2019 NFL season: Not too thrilled with the close wins, really bummed out with the two losses.

Imagine having a 5-2 record and then your confidence rating craters from 82% to 47%. That’s what happened after the Seahawks’ 30-16 home defeat against the Baltimore Ravens.

Only the Houston Texans (at 24%) join the Seahawks in the bottom-half of the confidence poll despite having a winning record.

But hey, I understand. Seattle has narrowly won games against not-good teams and there are plenty of statistics to suggest they’re not as good as their record suggests. But 5-2 is 5-2 and I’d rather be in reasonable position to make the playoffs than sub-.500 and then we’d really have something to complain about.

Besides, it could be worse! You want to see the Atlanta Falcons? Pour one out for our friends at The Falcoholic. The remaining 2% who were confident in their beloved franchise were finally beaten down after last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams. ZERO PERCENT.

If/when Dan Quinn gets fired, I have to think confidence will shoot straight up even if the Seahawks beat Atlanta by 60 points on Sunday.

Lastly, what’s the best football movie of all-time? For full disclosure, I put down The Longest Yard (the original, not the Adam Sandler remake). It never had a chance because the majority of respondents just love Remember the Titans.
