After the Week 8 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Pete Carroll stated the Seattle Seahawks were doing well in terms of health, in particular that no new injuries had been suffered during the victory. The the Seahawks promptly put Tedric Thompson on injured reserve and listed much of the rest of the roster on the Wednesday injury report.
As was seen last week, both Chris Carson and Tyler Lockett were limited in practice on Wednesday, and just like last week it is listed as not being injury related. Linebacker Bobby Wagner was also listed as limited for non-injury reasons, so my guess is that all three of these players will be back as full participants on Thursday. Duane Brown, Ziggy Ansah and K.J. Wright were also all limited in practice on Wednesday, but that seems par for the course as those are all veteran players likely getting some rest as the team enters the back half of the season.
That said, there were a half dozen players who did not participate at all in the Wednesday practice, including Quandre Diggs, Lano Hill, Quinton Jefferson, Neiko Thorpe, Al Woods and Mike Iupati.
The injury report will be interesting to watch as the team enters the back half of the week while preparing for a very important Week 9 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
