The Texans re-signed defensive end Joel Heath and receiver Steven Mitchell Jr. on Saturday after waiving both before their Thursday night game against the Colts. They waived safety Jonathan Owens, whom they called up from the practice squad with injuries in the secondary.

The Packers placed offensive guard Cole Madison on injured reserve Saturday, the team announced. The backup lineman tore an anterior cruciate ligament in practice this week. The Packers made Madison a fifth-round pick last year.
