The NFL Combine isn’t just a nice event for evaluating players. It’s also a chance for us to garner the mood around each NFL team, with the Head Coach and General Manager of each franchise heading up to a podium to answer questions from the assembled media. The appearance times have now been released:
2019 #NFLCombine media schedule.

For #Seattle #Seahawks fans the notable times are:
.General Manager John Schneider is scheduled to speak on Wednesday February 27th at 11.15 EST/8.15 PST
.Head Coach Pete Carroll is scheduled to speak on Thursday February 28th at 12EST/9 PST pic.twitter.com/1TAEzlpVgq
Here’s some interesting questions that we should hope to have at least partially answered by John Schneider and Pete Carroll:
- On reflection, how do you feel last season went?
- What’s going on with Frank Clark, is he getting tagged or are you still working on a longer term deal?
- With some key players hitting free agency, how are other offseason negotiations going so far?
- What are you looking to add to the 2019 Seahawks?
Last year, the Seahawks had to confirm how many draft picks they actually had (8). The talk was of upheaval, with the impact of coaching changes somewhat affecting their selections. In 2019, expect lots of vaguely disguised “trade down” talk and concern over only having 4 draft picks. Or perhaps Schneider and Carroll will choose to be even more cagey.
