Enemy Reaction Special Edition: The best of Earl Thomas

Super Bowl XLVIII - Seattle Seahawks v Denver Broncos Photo by Tom Pennington/Getty Images

Earl Thomas is no longer a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Barring injury or suspension, his next appearance at CenturyLink Field will be as a remember of the Baltimore Ravens. After nine seasons, 125 regular season games, 12 postseason games, and one Super Bowl championship, the first member of the Legion of Boom was the last to depart the franchise.

Throughout this decade, Thomas has wowed both Seahawks fans and indeed the entire NFL with incredible plays on the field. His importance as the centerpiece of Pete Carroll’s defense cannot be overstated. It was gut-wrenching to see his Seahawks career end on rather negative terms, both contractually and physically. He held out for a better deal, ended his holdout, broke his leg, and the rest is history.

But we are not here to lament the end of the Earl Thomas era, but to celebrate him as one of the greatest Seahawks of all-time.

So sit back and enjoy this special Enemy Reaction tribute to #29. In the interest of not crashing all of your browsers, some GIFs will be linked in the title (which you can open in a new tab), while others will be shown on the page.
