The Seahawks made a pair of moves on Friday afternoon, one of which was seemingly inevitable. Per Field Yates of ESPN, Seattle waived Sam Ficken and Emmanuel Beal:

Ficken, signed in January to compete at kicker, was almost certain to be cut the moment the Seahawks and Jason Myers agreed to a long-term deal. It’s Myers’ job barring anything unforeseen.
Beal, meanwhile, was signed by Seattle as a UDFA following the 2018 NFL Draft and brought intriguing versatility between linebacker and safety. During roster cuts in early September, Beal was waived with an injury designation, before reverting to the team’s injured reserve.
Neither of Beal or Ficken ever appeared in a regular season game for the Seahawks.
