Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Seahawks fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
We’ve got a pre-NFL Draft edition of FanPulse fresh out of the oven for you to look at. A few days ago, all 32 fanbases (as represented by SB Nation’s NFL sites) were polled about their respective teams’ top need heading into this week’s draft in Nashville. I noted the time-frame for when the question was asked, because obviously we’re just hours removed from the Seattle Seahawks trading Frank Clark to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now perhaps in part because there were the Clark trade rumors swirling leading up to Seattle actually sending him to Kansas City, the votes have been tallied and the results are pretty conclusive.

If you re-ran this poll right now I bet you that “DE” need would shoot up even higher. Safety is understandably second because the Seahawks don’t have Earl Thomas anymore, and I don’t see too many of you as being all that comfortable with a full season’s worth of Tedric Thompson as an NFL starter. “Other” I would assume lean towards wide receiver if you asked respondents, while offensive line is last. It feels weird knowing that offensive line is not a pressing need entering a draft for the Seahawks.
FanPulse participants were also asked which player is the best one out of the entire 2019 class. Unsurprisingly, top spot belonged to Ohio State pass-rushing star Nick Bosa, followed by Alabama man-beast Quinnen Williams. What did catch me a big off guard is how low the votes were for Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray.

Hey, maybe Bosa will inexplicably fall down to #21. You never know!
