It’s Saturday, which means the final day of the 2019 NFL Draft is here. The Seattle Seahawks entered the day with five picks over the last four rounds of the draft, and then traded their first Day 3 pick to the Minnesota Vikings to add a sixth pick on the day.
Over the first two days, the team had added four players in the draft, in
- DE L.J. Collier of TCU with pick 29 of Round 1,
- S Marquise Blair of Utah with Pick 47 of Round 2,
- WR D.K. Metcalf of Ole Miss with Pick 64 of Round 2 and
- LB Cody Burton of Utah with Pick 88 of round 3.
And then the team used the pick from the Vikings, pick 120, on wide receiver Gary Jennings of West Virginia. That left the Hawks with five more Day 3 picks, including those at 124, 132, 142, 204 and 209.
With the second of those six Saturday selections, the team chose to add guard Phil Haynes out of Wake Forest.
