It’s Saturday, and that means that the Seattle Seahawks are digging deep into their scouting reports to find the Day 3 gems who will hopefully convert their upside potential into solid on the field contributions in the future. The Hawks have five picks on the final day of the 2019 NFL Draft, and through the first two days and first two Day 3 picks of the draft the team added six players, including

  • DE L.J. Collier of TCU with pick 29 of Round 1,
  • S Marquise Blair of Utah with Pick 47 of Round 2,
  • WR D.K. Metcalf of Ole Miss with Pick 64 of Round 2,
  • LB Cody Burton of Utah with Pick 88 of round 3,
  • WR Gary Jennings of West Virginia with pick 120 of round 4 and
  • G Phil Haynes of Wake Forest with pick 124 of round 4.

The Hawks still have four more selections on Day 3 including those at 132, 142, 204 and 209.

With the third of their six Saturday selections, pick 132 in round 4, the Seahawks have selected cornerback Ugo Amadi out of Oregon.
