The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly double dipped into the pass rusher market on Thursday afternoon. Shortly after Cassius Marsh’s return to Seattle was reported, the Seahawks also signed Nate Orchard, per Bob Condotta.
The Seahawks today are also signing defensive end Nate Orchard, who was in for a visit earlier this week.

As Condotta notes, Orchard was a part of the group of players who visited Seattle earlier in the week. Another important note: Orchard does not factor into the compensatory pick formula.
After beginning his career in Cleveland, Orchard was cut at the end of preseason in 2018, as shown on the Browns’ season of Hard Knocks. Following his release, Orchard split 2018 between the Bills and Chiefs, appearing in four games and registering one quarterback hit.
Following Orchard and Marsh’s signings on Thursday, the Seahawks’ EDGE group consists of Frank Clark, Rasheem Green, Jacob Martin, Quinton Jefferson, Nazair Jones, Branden Jackson, Marsh and Orchard.
