From April 25th-27th, the 2019 NFL Draft will go down in Nashville, Tennessee. You probably know by now that the Seattle Seahawks currently have just four picks, but you’d like to think they won’t finish the draft with just four.
What we do know is that there will be a couple of special Seahawks guests in line to announce the team’s draft choices. It was confirmed on Thursday by the NFL that Legion of Boom stalwart Kam Chancellor will reveal Seattle’s third-round pick, while running back Shaun Alexander gets the honors for the second-round.

Now... there’s one problem. Seattle doesn’t have a second-rounder right now as a result of the Duane Brown trade (thanks, Jeremy Lane). It is unknown how that will affect Shaun, although we know that the Seahawks’ historical tendency under John Schneider to trade down means it’s very likely that they’ll find their way back into round two.
Alexander and Chancellor are probably not getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but they are both Seahawks legends. It’s easy to lament how poorly Shaun’s career ended, but injuries certainly played a major role in his decline. At his peak, he was one of the NFL’s best running backs, and was able to win league MVP in 2005.
Chancellor brought the most boom out of the Legion of Boom, providing a tremendous mixture of insane physical gifts, ball skills, and the power to demolish giant offensive linemen as if they’re tiny children. He is technically still on the roster but unable to play due to a serious neck injury. It’s expected that he’ll be released later this year.
So mark your calendars for exactly three weeks from now, because that’s when you’ll see Shaun and Kam on stage.
