Just in case you had any worries about some Seattle Seahawks rookie contract holdout, no need to fear anymore!
On Friday, Utah linebacker Cody Barton agreed to terms with Seattle, which means all eleven Seahawks picks from the 2019 NFL Draft are now under contract.

Details on Barton’s deal are unknown, although based on info from OverTheCap.com, it’s the standard four-year rookie contract worth up to $3.4 million, with an $884,124 bonus.
Barton was selected 88th overall in round three, and was Seattle’s fourth draft choice behind L.J. Collier, Marquise Blair (his Utah teammate), and the much-hyped D.K. Metcalf. While the other three figure to have significant roles on this year’s Seahawks team, Barton is a middle linebacker and that starting position belongs to Bobby Wagner. Essentially, he’ll be competing for rotational snaps alongside Austin Calitro. Hopefully he is the linebacker depth that Seattle has desperately needed.
So on that note, we can all rejoice! The Seahawks draft class is now fully signed, which is another hurdle to clear before training camp starts in July.
