Day 5 of Seattle Seahawks 2019 training camp is complete, and while this is indeed a highlights post, the headline from Tuesday’s practice was unfortunately the reported high ankle sprain suffered by rookie DL L.J. Collier. It is expected that Collier will miss the entire preseason.
Getting to what else happened on Tuesday, there are once again plenty of wide receiver highlights to savor. I’m partial to that go-route run by Gary Jennings Jr on Neiko Thorpe, but I know many will be at least moderately hyped over Russell Wilson’s throw down the middle to a diving D.K. Metcalf. This might be training camp, but I’m convinced he’s actually the greatest WR of all-time.
