We’re less than one month away from the start of the 2019 NFL regular season, so all of the television networks are unveiling their broadcast teams and overall coverage plans for fans to consistently criticize throughout the year.

Anyway, the Seahawks open the season at home against the Cincinnati Bengals, who were 6-10 last year and are probably not going to be any good this year. Unsurprisingly, CBS has decided to send one of its lower-tiered crews out to CenturyLink Field, with Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta on the call. These two did the Seahawks’ win over the Los Angeles Rams back in October 2017, so it’s not the first time we’ve heard them on a Seattle game.

The following week sees the Seahawks travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers on FOX. Kenny Albert and Ronde Barber, which seems to be FOX’s #3 team, will be the two guys up in the booth for that one. Barber was the analyst for Seattle’s home loss to the Rams last year, as well as the road win in Detroit, but Albert didn’t work a single Seahawks game in 2018.

We are yet to know who will handle Seattle’s Week 3 showdown with the New Orleans Saints, which airs on CBS, ditto for the FOX-televised road game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. As for Week 5, Seattle’s first primetime appearance will be on Thursday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams, and with FOX assuming that broadcast package, we will be sentenced to hearing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman for the first time since Seattle’s playoff loss at Dallas.

As a reminder, if you’re good with electronics, there’s always the option of syncing up the TV and radio together so you listen to Steve Raible instead of whomever is on the television broadcast.

Here are the commentary teams for both CBS and FOX that you’ll be hearing throughout the year.
