For Seattle Seahawks fans who were hoping that John Schneider would work his magic again and land talented Miami Dolphins safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, I have some bad news.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to send their 2020 first-round pick to the tanking Dolphins, who will soon have three first-rounders next year thanks to trades with Pittsburgh and the Houston Texans (for Laremy Tunsil).
TRADE: Steelers are trading a 2020 first-round pick to the Dolphins for DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, league sources tell ESPN.

Fitzpatrick requested a trade shortly after Miami’s 59-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on opening day, and Seattle was reportedly among the teams in contention for the former Alabama star. A first-round pick was Miami’s asking price, and it looks like they’ve got what they wanted. The Steelers are 0-2, Ben Roethlisberger is out for the season, and the once mighty Pittsburgh defense has underwhelmed at best.
So for any teams who want to part ways with a first-round pick for a standout player in the secondary, I guess you have to turn your attention towards disgruntled Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey.
