Though former All-Pro defensive tackle Damon Harrison joined the practice squad when he finally signed with the Seattle Seahawks, it came with the expectation he would have the chance to play. Pete Carroll left the door open for Harrison to feature in Week 5 when he was asked first on Wednesday and then on Friday, saying the veteran had done enough to be ready to play.
Carroll said that Jonathan Bullard and Damon Harrison have done enough this week to be options for this weekend's game but they won't determine until closer to game time if they'll play.

However, despite Carroll telling reporters Harrison was ready, the veteran defensive tackle will have to wait a little longer for his Seahawks debut. On Saturday, Seattle elevated Damarious Randall to their game day roster, but not Harrison.
Safety Damarious Randall was elevated from the Seahawks practice squad to the game day roster for Week 5. Randall was the only elevation, so no Snacks on Sunday Night Football

The Seahawks did not elevate Damon Harrison for tomorrow's game against the Vikings

Randall’s elevation likely signals that Lano Hill, who is listed as questionable ahead of Week 5, will join Jamal Adams on the sideline. Earlier in the week, the Seahawks had protected both CB Gavin Heslop and Randall, making it likely at least one of the two was elevated after both were in Week 4. On Saturday, Seattle made it official with Randall joining their game day roster. For Harrison, a debut will have to wait.
