For the first time in franchise history, the Seattle Seahawks are 5-0. As much as that is to celebrate, it comes after a win where the offense was ineffective for a large portion of the night and the defense struggled to stop the Minnesota Vikings ground game.

In the end, all the Seahawks needed was one defensive stop on 4th and short, a 94-yard drive by Russell Wilson and two attempts by DK Metcalf to bring in the game winning touchdown.

Easy, right?

Mookie Alexander and John Morgan join the Field Gulls post-game podcast to recap the Seahawks 27-26 victory over the Vikings. We discuss the 4th down stop that led to Wilson’s 94-yard game-winning drive, the five minutes of the third quarter that made up for all of the struggles this offense had throughout the day, and an MVP performance by Michael Dickson that the defense nearly squandered.
