Earl Thomas is still without a job, and it may now be too late.
According to Jason La Canfora and 710 ESPN radio, the Houston Texans athletes themselves voted no back when it seemed like Thomas was going to sign.

Imagine being 0-4, and not wanting a near-guaranteed Hall of Fame safety, former Legion of Boom superstar on your team.
If the report is true, what a rough couple of years it has been for Thomas. Beginning with his unseemly departure from the Seattle Seahawks, a good year for the Baltimore Ravens led to two offseason debacles which led to his dismissal from the team earlier this year. Now, despite defenses being shredded all over the league, Thomas finds himself still unemployed. The other Texas team called for an Earl Thomas signing all throughout last week’s Enemy Reactions but to no avail.
Thomas has always been a unique dude, but it generally ended with befuddlingly hilarious interviews as a Seahawk. This is really sad to see happening to one of the greats in Seattle sports history.
