Seahawks injury report improves on Thursday

In what is quickly becoming a weekly tradition, the Seahawks’ initial injury report for the week, released on Wednesday, had nearly half the roster on it. While there were a few cases of load management and resting veterans, the majority were given an actual injury designation.

The good news for Seattle, however, is that their injury report looked considerably better on Thursday, with most of the players included being listed as limited or full participants in practice.

K.J. Wright, Quinton Dunbar, and Duane Brown, all of whom sat out on Wednesday, returned in a limited fashion on Thursday—seemingly a good indication for their status for Week 5.

Those who remain out, Jamal Adams, Neiko Thorpe, Lano Hill, and Jordyn Brooks, were not expected to play against the Vikings anyway. Adams was declared out for Sunday early in the week, Thorpe has already been placed on I.R., Hill’s back has remained a problem for several weeks now, and Brooks was expected to miss several weeks with a sprained MCL.

While we won’t know for sure until the Seahawks’ final injury report is issued on Friday afternoon, it appears Seattle will have most players available for Sunday Night Football.
