After a dreadful defensive performance last Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks (6-2) find themselves on the cusp of dropping from 1st all the way down to 3rd in the NFC West. One way to remain on top is to beat the Los Angeles Rams (5-3) at their brand spankin’ new stadium in Inglewood.
Seattle’s defense is undermanned and will be without both Shaquill Griffin and Quinton Dunbar on Sunday. Good luck to Tre Flowers and whomever is the other starter. As if that wasn’t enough, the offense will be without center Ethan Pocic and potentially both Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde. The Rams offense may not be the juggernaut that it was in 2018, but they have one of the best defenses in the NFL and are 2nd in points allowed. It’ll be a stiff test for the Seahawks offense, and the defense will need a miraculous performance to stifle Jared Goff, Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, plus that dangerous Rams rushing attack. Since Sean McVay took over as head coach, the Seahawks are just 2-4 and have allowed at least 28 points in all but one game.
