Still undefeated!
The Seattle Seahawks unveiled their Action Green uniforms back in 2016 against the Los Angeles Rams. This was part of the NFL’s “Color Rush” movement that initially focused on Thursday Night Football but has now been made an option for other days of the week.
Whether you love them or hate them, you can’t deny that the Seahawks are able to win all the damn time.
2016: W 24-3 vs. Los Angeles Rams
2017: W 22-16 at Arizona Cardinals (this was costly, though)
2018: W 21-7 vs. Minnesota Vikings
2019: W 30-29 vs. Los Angeles Rams, W 37-30 vs. Minnesota Vikings
2020: W 27-26 vs. Minnesota Vikings, W 28-21 vs. Arizona Cardinals
It’s important to note that Action Green is not the same as the Lime Green that Seattle wore one time in 2009 under Jim Mora. We won’t discuss that game because I don’t like talking about the Mora year.
Seattle sort of cheated us this year because their action green tops were matched with blue pants instead of going green from top to bottom. Nevertheless these count as Action Green games and the Seahawks are allowed a maximum of two per year. When the opponents see green they should see an L coming their way too.
And I’m a man of my word.
The Seahawks are wearing their Action Green on Thursday. I will never ever make fun of or slander the Action Green unis if the Seahawks win against Arizona.
