Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Seahawks fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

If there’s anything we’ve learned from these surveys, it’s that blowout wins are good for the soul even if it’s against a horrible New York Jets team. Following a 40-3 thumping of the 0-13 Jets, fan confidence in the Seattle Seahawks rose from 35% to 72%. It’s not high enough that everyone was back on board after the loss to the New York Giants, but at least we’re not so in the dumps that 9-4 looks like 4-9.

By the way, if you think this is isolated to us, the Pittsburgh Steelers are at 24% confidence right now and are 11-2.

As for the NFC West race, it’ll go down to the wire. Both Seattle and the Los Angeles Rams are tied at 9-4 but the Rams have the all-important tiebreaker. If the Seahawks win their final two games then they win the NFC West, and yes that does mean that regardless of what happens in the game against the Washington Football Team, this scenario holds up. The national question posed to everyone across the community yielded 58% of respondents siding with the Rams over the Seahawks.

I don’t blame them but historically the Seahawks manage one signature regular season win against a legitimate Super Bowl contender. They haven’t had one yet and the Rams rematch is their only opportunity for one. I’m just saying that there is precedent.
