The rematch is finally here.
With a win over the Los Angeles Rams (9-5) this Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks (10-4) would clinch their first NFC West title since 2016. If they lose and get swept by LA, then the Seahawks would have to win in Week 17 and the Rams would need to lose or tie the Arizona Cardinals. There’s so much on the line for this one, and much of that is courtesy of the New York Jets, who shocked the Rams last week and thus Seattle is in this position.
Russell Wilson has not been at his best over the past several weeks and he was damn near at his worst in the first meeting against the Rams. That will surely need to change this time around against a vaunted Los Angeles defense. As for the improved Seahawks defense, they are up against an inconsistent Rams offense that has consistently troubled Seattle over the years. Now is not that time for Jared Goff, it’s time for Jared Goof.
