Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Seahawks fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

A week after the Seattle Seahawks won a primetime game against the Eagles, confidence among fans has... just about remained the same. Guess that’s what not getting an easy blowout will do.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 87 percent of Seahawks fans said they are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That’s up from 86 percent a week ago and well up from the 29% after the low point that was losing to both the Bills and Rams in consecutive weeks.

Hey, I’ll take steady confidence and a slight uptick over the multiple times this season the numbers dropped after an actual win.

This week, the Seahawks have another NFC East opponent in the division leading New York Giants. Fans nationally have picked Seattle to win that game. They’re a 10-point favorite in most betting circles, which... I suppose so but be careful when you bet point spreads with the Seahawks.

Alright, it’s time for the national portion of this segment. Fans across the SB Nation NFL community were asked what they thought about teams around the AFC. The respondents picked the Titans and Bills as true playoff contenders. A majority of fans, however, think the Dolphins, Browns, Ravens, and Colts are all “pretenders.” As an aside, it’s kinda crazy and fitting for 2020 that we might get a wild card game between Buffalo and Cleveland.

All of those teams, however, have a better record than anyone in the NFC East. Not just better but better by at least two games. When fans nationally were asked who they think will come out of that historically bad division, 57 percent picked the Washington Football Team. The Seahawks play at Washington in Week 15, and to freak all of you out, there’s been a season-ending injury to a quarterback the last three times a game has been played at FedEx Field.
