Seahawks reportedly interested in wide receiver Phillip Dorsett
Just got off the phone with impending FA WR Phillip Dorsett. He told me, teams showing preliminary interest in him include the #NYJ, #SEA, #LAC, #SF, #LVR. He said, "I just want to come in and have a great opportunity to play and showcase how I can really flourish as a player."

Seattle has expressed interest in safety/versatile defensive back Demarious Randall
I'm told of the teams expressing preliminary interest in impending free agent S Damarious Randall, the #Raiders, #Seahawks & #Skins are the teams Randall would most likely entertain to join, as of now, per source.

Former Seahawks’ OT George Fant reached agreement with the Jets on a three-year, $30 million deal that includes $13.7 million guaranteed, per @JFowlerESPN and me.

The #Seahawks are re-signing DT Jarran Reed to a two-year, $23 million contract, source said. Short deal that gets a good player back to the market at age 29.

Seattle and running back Isaiah Crowell are reportedly in talks that would see the veteran tailback land with the Seahawks.
Sounds like the #Seahawks and Isaiah Crowell may be close to getting something done. Not confirmed yet. Makes sense though.
— Ian Furness (@IanFurnessSea) March 17, 2020
Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times pushed back on the notion Crowell and the Seahawks are close.
I'm hearing any deal with running back Isaiah Crowell and the Seahawks isn't THAT close. Not ruling it out, but not sure how quickly it gets done if it does. But as always this time of year, we'll see.

One of Seattle’s more underrated pieces of the last two years, Quinton Jefferson, has moved onto the Bills.
The #Bills are expected to sign #Seahawks DE Quinton Jefferson to a 2-year deal, source said. An underrated starter in Seattle.

The Seahawks are on the board in the legal tampering period, signing former Steelers offensive lineman B.J. Finney to a two-year deal.
The #Seahawks are signing former #Steelers OL B.J. Finney to a two-year, $8 million deal, source said. Versatile interior player who has 13 career starts.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo mentioned Wednesday morning that Jadeveon Clowney’s market hasn’t been as hot as expected.
I'll give you what I can tell you on Clowney here: He hasn't found the market he expected. Could wind up the #Sehawks' offer is the best he'll get. https://t.co/Bn1ABfcdC6
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 18, 2020
Mike Garafolo provided further information on Clowney’s market on Wednesday afternoon.
Mike Garafolo just said on NFL Network Jadeveon Clowney has been hoping for Mack/Aaron Donald type money and Seattle's offer has been "on that next tier below'' that. Says Clowney may have to accept that may be the best offer he's going to get.

The Seahawks did not tender four of their restricted free agents, making them unrestricted with the start of the new league year.
NFL made it official today that Seahawks did not tender Jordan Simmons, Tyrone Swoopes, Kalan Reed and Jeremy Boykins. So all four are now unrestricted free agents.
— Bob Condotta (@bcondotta) March 18, 2020
Bruce Irvin is back.
It’s a reunion type of day: The #Seahawks are bringing back old friend and DE Bruce Irvin, source said. The former first-round draft pick heads home to Seattle.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 18, 2020
Seattle has signed (presumably) their new right tackle, in former Jets tackle Brandon Shell.
Seattle adding offensive line help: Seahawks reached agreement on a two-year, $11 million deal with former Jets’ OT Brandon Shell, per source.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 18, 2020
Almost like an accidental free-agent OT trade: Seattle gets Shell, Jets get former Seahawks OT George Fant.
Tedric Thompson has been granted permission by the Seahawks to seek a trade.
Seattle #Seahawks starting free safety Tedric Thompson has been given permission to seek a trade, source said. Would likely be for a late-round draft pick.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 18, 2020
The Seahawks weren’t done adding tackles on Wednesday, reportedly signing Cedric Ogbuehi shortly after Shell’s reported signing.
#Seahawks have agreed to a deal with OT Cedric Ogbuehi, source says. Former #Bengals first-round pick was with the #Jaguars last year.
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 18, 2020
This, from the Jaguars’ P.R. director, seems to signal an upcoming wave of news from teams.
The NFL just alerted teams that we're able to announce transactions if:
— Tad Dickman (@TDickman89) March 19, 2020
1) club & player have reached an agreement on the terms of the contract.
2) the written contract has been sent to the player & agent.
Buckle up. https://t.co/z4YNoyqYt4
Jordan Simmons, a slightly surprising non-tendered player, is likely to return to Seattle after all according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson.
A Seahawks update as we await word on Jadeveon Clowney: I'm told they'll likely re-sign G Jordan Simmons after non-tendering him. A possible explanation for that is the ERFA tender doesn't allow for a spit salary, which would make sense for him as he spent last year on IR (knee).
— Brady Henderson (@BradyHenderson) March 19, 2020
Seattle added another offensive lineman, former first-round pick Chance Warmack.
OL Chance Warmack is signing with the Seahawks per source.

Al Woods has moved on, according to his agency. The veteran DT signed with the Jaguars.

The Seahawks added speedster Phillip Dorsett to an already-quick wide receiver corps.
WR Phillip Dorsett just texted me he is going to the #Seahawks on a 1-year deal.

Germain Ifedi has a new home, a week after free agency officially began. Ifedi and the Bears came to terms on a one-year deal.
Former #Seahawks OL Germain Ifedi is signing a 1-year deal with the #Bears, source said. The former first-rounder gets a fresh start and may play guard in Chicago.
