We’ve got another FanPulse to share with you this week, and it reflects the viewpoints of fans after the first week of free agency. Polling closed early Tuesday morning, so it includes anyone who responded after the Quinton Dunbar trade but will leave out anyone who wanted to answer after Germain Ifedi was signed by the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.

Now with that in mind, what letter grade did you give the Seattle Seahawks? Even without Jadeveon Clowney getting re-signed yet, most of you have gone for “B.”

I can fully understand the “incomplete” grades given nothing has been done yet with Clowney, plus we could still see the Seahawks pursue Everson Griffen. The major positives thus far have been the re-signing of Jarran Reed, bringing back Bruce Irvin, and getting Quinton Dunbar via trade. Seattle’s notable departures include Quinton Jefferson, George Fant, and Al Woods.

On the confidence poll, which we last conducted at the end of the 2019 season, there’s not been too much movement. We’re at roughly 80% belief that the Seahawks know what they’re doing and that another legitimate championship contender is being built.

Just for fun, here’s what the Houston Texans’ FanPulse results look like. I suppose trading away DeAndre Hopkins and not even getting a first-round pick in return is grounds for being a tad upset with the way your head coach/general manager is running your team into the ground.

You think that’s bad? The confidence polling is pretty much at 0%... for a team that was 24-0 up on the eventual Super Bowl champions in the playoffs just two months ago. Little did we know that wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to them in 2020.
