Mike Curtis, the first defensive captain of the Seattle Seahawks, passed away Monday morning at his home in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was 77. Curtis, who played 14 seasons in the NFL in the 1960’s and 70’s, was one of the hardest-hitting linebackers of his era. He’s most known for his career with the Baltimore Colts, who he spent the first 11 years of his career with (1965-75).
