Evidently, Metcalf is able to make his impact felt off the field, too, while continuing to endear himself to fans and observers across the league.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Metcalf is donating $50,000 towards COVID-19 relief efforts, split between his two most recent football homes in Seattle and Oxford, Mississippi.

Metcalf is the latest Seahawk to make his impact felt in the fight against the coronavirus. In mid-March, Russell Wilson and Ciara donated one million meals to those in need in the Seattle community. Meanwhile Wilson’s mother Tammy, a former nurse, is helping to set up care facilities across Seattle.
