We’re in the boring part of the offseason where nothing notable happens other than your major cornerback acquisition getting arrested for allegedly robbing people.
Working under the hopeful assumption that the 2020 NFL season will start on time, along with the sad fact that I have too much time on my hands, I figured now would be a time to do some old Enemy Reactions, but with your help!
The screenshot format that you’ve all come to know has been in place since 2011, and I’ve included virtually every Seahawks win since 2014. That leaves out a few gems that I largely didn’t have time to do, such as:
- The 42-13 beatdown of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012.
- The 58-0 pancaking of the Arizona Cardinals in 2012.
- The 50-17 shellacking of the Buffalo Bills in 2012.
- The 34-7 destruction of the New Orleans Saints in 2013.
- The 23-20 comeback against the Houston Texans in 2013.
SB Nation has been around for a long time and I could probably stretch the archives back to roughly the 2007 season if you want some really old-school Seahawks games to relive. I won’t be able to fulfill all of these, and there may be some suggestions that have already been fulfilled. There are also games from 2011-2013 in which I only highlighted our good plays and nothing positive for the opposition, so a “remaster” is totally fine.
But I’m also open to (if possible) some non-Seahawks games with an emphasis on our biggest rivals. I never did an Enemy Reaction after the 49ers lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl, for example.
Compilations are also worth a look - e.g. top Russell Wilson touchdown passes, Best of Kam Chancellor, etc.
Leave them in the comments or reply to the Field Gulls Twitter account (@FieldGulls) and I’ll see what I can do.
