The Seattle Seahawks recently added eight players in the 2020 NFL Draft, before then turning around and adding another 17 undrafted free agents. With optimism still at peak levels for the new youngsters on the roster and their future potential, the team has assigned jersey numbers to the new faces. The numbers assigned are as follows:
- DT Josh Avery 63
- LB Jordyn Brooks 56
- RB Patrick Carr 39
- T Tommy Champion 79
- RB DeeJay Dallas 31
- WR Seth Dawkins 13
- WR Aaron Fuller 2
- QB Anthony Gordon 6
- CB Gavin Heslop 9
- RB Anthony Jones 36
- DT Cedrick Lattimore 75
- G Damien Lewis 68
- DE Eli Mencer 43
- FS Chris Miller 33
- FS Josh Norwood 41
- TE Colby Parkinson 84
- CB Debione Renfro 38
- DE Alton Robinson 98
- CB Kemah Siverand 8
- WR Stephen Sullivan 87
- WR Freddie Swain 18
- DE Darrell Taylor 58
- DE Marcus Webb 48
In addition, a pair of defensive backs who were recently claimed by the team off waivers have received their numbers as well:
- CB Jayson Stanley 1
- CB Linden Stephens 34
Stepping back to the numbers given to the rookies, it was just Thursday morning that I compared seventh round draft pick Stephen Sullivan, who will be wearing number 87, to 2019 undrafted free agent Jazz Ferguson due to their similar builds and athletic profiles. Well, well, well.

In any case, it’s still likely several months until fans get a chance to see the new Seahawks on the field, but at least fans now know what jersey numbers to buy. Or whose name to write on their old Kam Chancellor, Justin Britt and Tanner McEvoy jerseys.
