A member of the Seattle Seahawks’ defensive line in 2019, who is still a free agent, is working towards a deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
That’s right.
Ezekiel Ansah.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Ansah will undergo a physical and COVID-19 testing with San Francisco, as the team considers adding the one-time Seahawk.
This is interesting: Former #Seahawks pass-rusher and current free agent Ziggy Ansah is going through a physical and COVID-19 testing with the #49ers, sources say. Nothing is done, but SF gets a first look at a potentially high-end edge talent.

Part of the story with Ansah is of course health, so his physical will be crucial if the 49ers are to sign him. Offseason shoulder surgery in 2019 massively impacted Ansah, with Pete Carroll admitting as much in November. However, Ansah did have one of the best individual performances of the season along Seattle’s defensive line, a nearly dominant showing against the Eagles. If healthy, Ansah could be a disruptive part of San Francisco’s defensive line.
Also in the building to visit the 49ers on Tuesday is Dion Jordan, a member of the Seahawks in 2017 and ‘18. In 2019, Jordan played seven games for the Raiders, registering two sacks.
Former Raiders, Seahawks and Dolphins DE Dion Jordan is visiting today with the San Francisco 49ers, per source.

As part of the league’s effort to manage the coronavirus, teams are only permitted to have players who they are serious about signing visit. Presumably, should Jordan and Ansah get the all-clear from medical staff, the former Seattle pass rushers will join San Francisco.
