How Twitter reacted to new Seahawks S Jamal Adams feasting on the Falcons

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday the Seattle Seahawks opened their 2020 season with a long road trip to to the Eastern Time Zone for a ten o’clock game against the Atlanta Falcons. The early game and lack of preseason had many fans both anxious and excited for what would transpire, and the Hawks did not disappoint. The 38-25 dismantling of the Falcons never really seemed to be in doubt, especially after the Hawks offense came out firing, scoring touchdowns on each of the first two possessions.

That said, between the Seattle offense attacking Atlanta through the air and the defense generating enough pressure to disrupt the offense of the Falcons at times, the outcome of the game was never in doubt. That allowed fans to sit back and enjoy a relatively stress free viewing experience for the Seahawks debut of new safety Jamal Adams, added this summer from the New York Jets.

Adams, to say the least, did not disappoint, and Twitter had a field day with his performance.

FOX Sports knew Adams was ready for the game before the coin toss even took place.

And from there at times it seemed like there were more than one of Adams wreaking havoc on the Falcons.

And then after the game Adams got to have some fun at the expense of his former team.

Having set such high expectations for Seahawks fans going forward, it might now be hard for Adams to keep impressing Seattle fans as much as he did in his debut. That said, he’ll certainly have the chance to do so Sunday evening when the Hawks take on the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.
